Sustainable Home Essentials Brand EcoSoul Home Raise US$20 million in Series B

Noida and US-based sustainable home essentials brand EcoSoul Home have raised US$20 million in combined equity and debt financing as part of its Series B round.

Accel and strategic investors, including Bajaj Financial Securities Limited, alongside StartupXseed Ventures, JSW Ventures, and the CK Birla Group, with continued participation from Singh Capital Partners, led the Series B round. Additional venture debt was secured from Alteria Capital and SIDBI.

With its current fundraising efforts, Ecosoul has now cumulatively raised over $50 million to drive its market leadership across multiple geographies.

In April 2023, the company raised US$10 million in its Series A round from Accel, Singh Capital Partners, and Founder Bank Capital. In August 2023, it also raised undisclosed money from Hindi film actor Bhumi Pednekar.

The proceeds will be utilised to enhance manufacturing capabilities across its three production facilities in India, while strengthening its omni-channel retail presence in key markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, the GCC countries, and India.

Co-founded in 2020 by Rahul Singh and Arvind Ganesan, EcoSoul Home offers eco-friendly home essentials crafted from sustainable materials, including palm leaves, bamboo, sugarcane bagasse, and PLA.

Its product range includes items such as plates and bowls made from bagasse and areca palm leaf, bamboo chopping boards, biodegradable cups, birchwood cutlery and bamboo toilet paper. The products are well-suited for households, cafes, restaurants, events, outdoor picnics, and sustainable gifting

The company’s products are available in India, the USA, Vietnam, and China, and include partnerships across more than 50 retail stores in seven countries, including Walmart and Costco in the US.

Ecosoul Home competes with other sustainable home essentials startups, such as CHUK, Delhi-based Ecoware, among others.
